OXFORD, Maine (AP) - Oxford County’s administrator says repairs to the county’s regional airport may exceed $300,000.

Administrator Scott Cole told the Sun Journal (https://bit.ly/1mz3jri ) on Thursday the first item needing to be addressed at the Oxford airport is roof repairs. The airport also needs to comply with state Department of Environmental Protection regulations and it needs repairs to its fuel system.

Equipment and aircraft items from the facility will be auctioned.

Oxford County Regional Airport’s runway is currently open, but aviators are not able to fuel up at the facility. The county must complete repairs to the facility before it can determine what to do with it in the future.
