NEWPORT, Ore. (AP) - Fire officials in Newport say a 61-year-old woman died in a fire at her home.
Investigators say the fire was so extensive the cause couldn’t be determined, but nothing suspicious was found.
The fire department said the remains of Patrice Passino were found Thursday in the house, along with those of her dog nearby.
She lived about three miles east of Newport.
