ROMULUS, Mich. (AP) - An Arkansas man has been cited for re-entering a secure area at Detroit Metropolitan Airport in Romulus without a security check, causing a more than two-hour lockdown and delaying some flights.

Airport spokesman Mike Conway says 22-year-old Christian Smith posted bond Friday morning and was released.

Smith was arrested Thursday night by airport police after exiting and going back into a secured side of a screening checkpoint. The Associated Press left a phone message Friday afternoon at Smith’s address in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

Conway says 34th District Court in Romulus will contact Smith regarding a hearing date.

Conway also said all flights delayed at the McNamara Terminal were able to take off Thursday night.
