4 killed, 2 injured in two-vehicle crash on northeastern Nevada road
SPRING CREEK, Nev. (AP) - Four people are dead and two others injured after a two-vehicle crash in northeastern Nevada.
The Nevada Highway Patrol says the crash happened Tuesday night on State Route 227 in Spring Creek.
Authorities say Spring Creek resident Jessica Layton was making a left turn when another vehicle struck hers on the right side. Layton’s vehicle overturned, striking a light pole and knocking it over.
Two of Layton’s passengers, a 19-year-old man and a 5-year-old girl, and the two passengers in the other vehicle, a 27-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, died.
Their names were not immediately released.
Authorities say Layton and a 6-year-old girl were treated for injuries.
