HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - An out-of-place police cruiser tipped officials off to a break-in at Harrisburg’s vehicle maintenance center, where thieves also swiped two other cars.

A Harrisburg police officer spotted a vehicle that should have been in for repairs early Friday. When officials went to the maintenance facility, they discovered someone had forced their way inside.

Besides the cruiser, an SUV and a 15-passenger van were taken sometime Thursday night into Friday. The SUV was recovered but the van is still missing.
