HOUSTON (AP) - Deputies are seeking clues to the identity of the person who opened fire at a suburban Houston “after-prom” party, wounding four teens.
A statement from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office says the shooting happened about 1:30 a.m. Saturday at a horse barn 14 miles northwest of downtown Houston. A witness told deputies that a person fired into the crowd after he and a group of friends were asked to leave.
Two of the wounded teens were taken by ambulance to a hospital, while two others arrived in private cars. Sheriff’s officials say all four are expected to recover.
