NAMPA, Idaho (AP) - A former bookkeeper at a southwest Idaho organization has been sentenced to 90 days in jail and 10 years on probation for stealing $50,000 from her employer.
The Idaho Press-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/RG6fss) that the sentence Arin Nesbitt received Wednesday in 3rd District Court includes paying restitution.
Nesbitt worked at Southwest Idaho Resource Conservation and Development Council.
The nonprofit group helps fund, manage and consult on natural resource-related projects.
The group says the theft has made it more difficult for the organization to operate.
Nesbit apologized at the sentencing.
