EL RENO, Okla. (AP) - A grand opening ceremony is scheduled later this week for a new Indian health facility.

The event for the El Reno Indian Health Center is Friday.

The Clinton Indian Health Service, working with the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes, has re-established medical services at the center after damage from last year’s massive tornado caused the services to end.

The Oklahoma City suburb was among the communities hit hardest by the May 2013 tornado outbreak that killed dozens of people and injured hundreds more during a two-week period.
