CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Police suspect alcohol in a crash involving an SUV and bicyclist in downtown Casper.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1tstdj8 ) a bystander early Thursday performed CPR on the bicyclist at the scene before he was transported to a hospital.

A witness told the newspaper that the driver of a white Yukon was speeding, going from lane to lane, and ran a red light. Lt. Mike Thompson of the Casper Police Department said investigators suspect alcohol and the crash remains under investigation.

Neither police nor hospital officials would release the name of the injured bicyclist.
