ANTLERS, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has arrested an Antlers man for the shooting death of his nephew.
The OSBI said Friday that 69-year-old Henry Cole was arrested at his home for first-degree murder in the April 15 shooting death of Gene Cole. Henry Cole is now jailed on $1 million bond and court records do not list an attorney for him.
Documents filed with the case say Cole told authorities that he found his Gene Cole’s body on his property and that he found the shotgun believed to have been used in the shooting on a porch at his home.
