SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - The Spokane County sheriff’s office says graffiti at a local Presbyterian church was probably a random attack.

The Spokesman-Review reports (https://is.gd/k7X0og ) the graffiti on the front of Millwood Community Presbyterian Church includes an anti-Christ symbol and the phrase “skate or die.” A construction sign in the back of the church also was vandalized.

Pastor Craig Goodwin says the vandalism was discouraging.

Deputies say they are still investigating and they say incidents of graffiti and tagging have decreased in Spokane County this year. But incidents in Millwood are up and Spokane authorities say graffiti peaks in the warmer months.
