NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. (AP) - Investigators say a daring thief committed a carjacking in the parking lot of a Tampa area courthouse.
The Tampa Bay Times (https://bit.ly/1kK57zn ) reports a woman was getting into her vehicle in New Port Richey on Tuesday afternoon when a man demanded her diamond engagement ring and car keys.
Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies say the man sped away in the car. They found the abandoned vehicle about an hour later in nearby Hudson. But the ring is still missing.
