ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) - Alexandria police say one person has died and two other wounded in a drive-by shooting.

The Town Talk reports (https://townta.lk/1hyxxYN ) witnesses told police they saw a white SUV leaving the scene of Tuesday night’s shooting.

Police stopped the vehicle a short time later and arrested 21-year-old Lajavas Hall and 25-year-old Cinquanta Hall, both of Alexandria.

Police booked Lajavas Hall with one count of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted first-degree murder. Cinquanta Hall was booked with manslaughter.

Police say 28-year-old Quantrella Turner, of Alexandria, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other men are being treated for gunshot wounds.

Police have not released a motive for the shooting.
