EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say the two men whose bodies were found inside their southern New Jersey condominium last week died in a murder-suicide.

Andrew Breznitsky and Delbert “Del” McKenzie, both 58, were found Saturday afternoon.

Atlantic County prosecutors tell The Press of Atlantic City (https://bit.ly/1kd5HAT) that a neighbor called police after she noticed accumulating mail and said she had not seen the men since Thursday.

Once inside, officers found Breznitsky had been shot in the head, while McKenzie had gunshot wounds to the chest. Police found a small-caliber semiautomatic handgun at the scene.

Authorities have concluded that McKenzie shot Breznitsky twice in the head, killing him. He then fatally shot himself twice in the chest.

A motive for the shootings remains under investigation.
