NEW ORLEANS (AP) - A performance by the Marine Corps Quintet is one of the ways the National World War II Museum in New Orleans is marking Memorial Day.
Monday’s scheduled performance outside the museum’s “Freedom Pavilion” was to be followed later by a moment of silence and a bell-ringing. A special display of artifacts and images for Memorial Day has been in place at the museum since May 21 and will continue through June 4.
