Two trains in India crashed on Monday, leaving at least 20 dead, emergency responders said.

The Gorakhpur Express, a passenger train, was moving at a high rate of speed and tried to slam on its breaks and avoid a freight train that was sitting on the tracks, Uttar Pradesh district magistrate Bharat Lal said, CBS reported. Six of the passenger cars derailed, killing at least 20,.

“Five bodies have been recovered so far, and efforts are being made to bring out the remaining bodies,” said railway official Alok Kumar, to CBS.

Another 50 were injured, including the driver and assistant driver of the express train.
