CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) - Authorities say one person has been seriously injured in a rollover vehicle crash in eastern Iowa.

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office says the crash occurred shortly after midnight Monday in Cedar Rapids. Responders reported a vehicle had rolled into a ditch.

The passenger in the vehicle, 20-year-old Tristan James, of Cedar Rapids, was eventually taken to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City with serious injuries. Additional information about his condition was not released.

The driver, 22-year-old Elisha Cross, also of Cedar Rapids, was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life threatening. The crash remains under investigation.
