PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire authorities will demonstrate how they respond to coastal oil spills.

Representatives of the Department of Environmental services, the oil industry, and federal, state and local emergency response agencies are hosting an Oil Spill Response Open House on Saturday, May 31.

The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon at the Pease Tradeport in Portsmouth.

The open house will include displays of oil spill response equipment and presentations on how the oil industry, and governmental agencies would work together to protect the coastal environment.
