Body found at bottom of Charlotte apartment pool

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Police are investigating after a body was found in a pool at a Charlotte apartment complex.

Authorities say someone at the Woodbridge Apartments called 911 and hung up without talking to the operator around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

When officers investigated the call, they found a body at the bottom of the pool.

Authorities have not released the name or age of the person who died.

A hazardous materials team joined several officers and paramedics at the apartment pool.
