BOISE, Idaho (AP) - More than 150 airmen have returned to Mountain Home Air Force Base from a deployment to Afghanistan and Southwest Asia.

The 726th Air Control Squadron returned on Friday.

The squadron had been providing support in Afghanistan since January.

The Air Force says the squadron’s mission ranges from enemy surveillance to weapons control. The unit has received a number of Air Force meritorious awards for deployments around the world since 2003.
