CONCORD, N.Y. (AP) - Sheriff’s deputies say a traffic stop of a car speeding through a western New York town netted a stash of marijuana, narcotics, drug-dealing paraphernalia and $15,000 in cash.

The Erie County Sheriff’s Office says the car was going 90 mph in a 65 mph zone in Concord when stopped Friday evening. Concord is a town about 30 miles south of Buffalo.

The sheriff’s office says deputies found more than eight ounces of marijuana and various narcotic pills in the car. Deputies say they also found scales used for weighing drugs and glassine envelopes used for packaging them.

The 32-year-old driver and her 19-year-old passenger, also a woman, have been arrested on drug possession charges. They’re awaiting arraignment, and it’s not immediately clear whether they have lawyers.
