CINCINNATI (AP) - There will be plenty of beer, bratwurst and baseball in Cincinnati this weekend.

The 36th annual Taste of Cincinnati runs Saturday through Monday, coming off a reported record attendance of 550,000 last year.

The Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber says the festival will start an hour earlier each day this year, at 11 a.m., with 250 food options. Those include samplings from restaurants, a food truck alley, and sit-down dining with on-site chefs. Some proceeds will be donated to Cincinnati State’s Midwest Culinary Institute.

Organizers also have booked 70 music acts, and there will be keg-tappings of craft beers.

The organizers also are promoting the baseball series between the Cincinnati Reds and the rival St. Louis Cardinals. Games will be shown on the downtown Fountain Square video board.
