WATERBURY, Vt. (AP) - Craft beer lovers are heading to Waterbury and the Mad River Valley for a mini brew festival.

Three of the state’s top breweries are holding events on Saturday.

A “tap takeover” is taking place at three Waterbury bars, with 10 to 12 lines on tap of beer from Hill Farmstead Brewery, which is celebrating its fourth year.

The Burlington Free Press reports (https://bfpne.ws/1ofmo6B ) that Lawson’s Finest Liquids will debut Triple Sunshine, an IPA with a 10.5 percent alcohol content, at an 8 a.m. breakfast buffet at Mad Taco in Waitsfield. Tickets will also be available for sales of the new beer at the Waitsfield Farmers Market.

And the Alchemist, maker of the popular Heady Topper, will have a truck sale at 3 p.m. at Pilgrim Park in Waterbury.
