LAKEWOOD, N.J. (AP) - Police say a toddler was struck and killed by a van while walking home from a play group with her father and 4-year-old sister in Lakewood.
The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office says 34-year-old Yehoshua Klein of Lakewood was pulling into a driveway when he struck 2½-year-old Yocheved Abraham on 11th Street on Thursday.
The girl was pronounced dead at a hospital.
No charges have been filed and the accident remains under investigation.
