RACINE, Wis. (AP) - A Racine man has pleaded no contest in the drug overdose death of his father nearly two years ago.
The Journal Times (https://bit.ly/1lIQkBF) reports 24-year-old Adam Jaskulske entered the plea Friday to an amended charge of second-degree reckless homicide. Sentencing is set for July 24.
Prosecutors last year charged Jaskulske with being a party to first-degree reckless homicide. He was accused in the June 3, 2012, death of his father, 49-year-old Glen Jaskulske of Racine. Investigators say Glen Jaskulske died after a night allegedly spent partying and doing drugs with his son.
Adam Jaskulske’s co-defendant, 27-year-old Aaron Mianecki of Racine, is accused of being their heroin supplier.
Last week, Mianecki pleaded no contest to two counts of first-degree reckless homicide in the 2012 deaths of men in Racine and Dodge counties, including Glen Jaskulske.
