MARSHFIELD, Wis. (AP) - Officials say the Marshfield Clinic plans another round of layoffs.

Clinic President and CEO Dr. Brian Ewert tells WAOW-TV (https://bit.ly/RjhUwX ) between 80 and 120 positions will be cut. He says that equals about 1 percent to 2 percent of the total clinic workforce.

Ewert says those jobs are management positions, and says patient care will not be affected.

In 2012, the clinic laid off 100 workers. Earlier this year, Marshfield Clinic leaders also announced budget cuts, which meant a 5 percent pay cut for doctors and employees who earn more than $125,000.

Marshfield Clinic has about 7,700 workers, including 700 doctors, and operates about 50 medical centers in central, northern and western Wisconsin.
