AKRON, Ohio (AP) - A judge is northeast Ohio has sentenced a man and woman to life in prison for sexually abusing a 4-year-old girl and 7-year-old boy.
Prosecutors say 33-year-old Jacob Singleton and 30-year-old Cecilia Lower drugged the girl with a stolen antidepressant and photographed the abuse. Prosecutors said photos of the abuse of the boy were shared by the couple on Facebook.
They pleaded guilty to rape and other sex charges earlier this month in Akron. Both will be eligible for parole after serving 25 years.
Court records show the crimes occurred last July.
A prosecutor called the abuse “truly sickening.”
