HELENA, Mont. (AP) - The Miami Dolphins have signed linebacker Jordan Tripp, a fifth-round pick from the University of Montana.

The 6-foot-3, 234-pound Tripp is from Missoula, Montana, where he was a four-year starter for the Grizzlies. He finished fourth in school history with 335 career tackles and holds the school record with 10 fumble recoveries, including three for touchdowns. He also posted 11 sacks, five interceptions including one returned for a touchdown and five forced fumbles.

The Dolphins announced Tripp’s signing on Friday.

Former Griz Jimmy Wilson is beginning his fourth season as a safety and special teams player for the Dolphins.
