HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) - Forrest County sheriff’s officials have added charges against a Forrest County Agricultural High School teacher arrested Monday on one count of exploitation of a minor.

Investigator Alyssa Chandlee tells The Hattiesburg American (https://hatne.ws/RWAhIO ) 32-year-old Joshua Smith, of Poplarville, is now charged with one count of sexual battery and three counts of exploitation of a minor.

Chandlee said Smith is a special education teacher has coached multiple boys and girls sports.

She said Smith allegedly used electronic communication with students to entice them for sexual purposes.

Chandlee said there may be additional victims.

Smith is being held in the Forrest County Jail. His bond is $50,000 for each of the four charges.

It was unclear whether he has an attorney.
