TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities are searching for two women from Mexico who reportedly are performing unlicensed medical procedures in Tucson that enlarge a person’s buttocks.

The FBI office in Phoenix and Arizona Attorney General’s Office say Ivonne Clarisa Ceballos Tapia and Perla Guadalupe Rubio Prada allegedly are performing cosmetic medical procedures on women with a substance that’s not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

An FBI spokesman says Tapia and Prada aren’t licensed and are injecting polyacrylamide hydrogel into women.

Authorities say the watery gel is banned in the United States.

The FBI and the state AG’s Office are trying to identify women who received the procedure.

They say anyone treated by Tapia and Prada is asked to seek medical attention by a licensed and certified doctor.
