CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Three finalists have been selected for chief executive officer of the Wyoming Business Council.

Council Co-Chairman Rex Lewis says the three finalists are: Joan Evans, who is now the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services director; Riverton businessman Hal Herron; and Shawn Reese, who is policy director for Gov. Matt Mead.

The candidates are scheduled to interview with the full Business Council board on May 28 prior to the board’s retreat in Laramie.

The board is expected to discuss the candidates in executive session on May 29 in Laramie. The timeline for a final decision has yet to be determined.

Lewis said the selection committee received 38 applications to replace former CEO Bob Jensen.
