LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Georgia Gwinnett College officials say they’re launching a new bachelor of science degree program.
Officials say the school is launching a chemistry program that will begin accepting students in fall of 2014. School officials say students may apply for the program through June 2.
Officials say the new program is being launched as the School of Science and Technology moves into new laboratory and classroom space in the Allied Health and Sciences building on the school’s campus in Lawrenceville.
The school’s senior vice president of academic and student research, Lois Richardson says school officials are excited to launch the new program and all of the college’s degree offerings are targeted to meet employment needs and opportunities.
