BRANSON, Mo. (AP) - Tabloid talk-show host Jerry Springer is taking a break from the fisticuffs and shouting matches for a summer game-show residency in Branson.
“The Jerry Springer Show” host and former Cincinnati mayor comes to southwest Missouri starting Friday for a stint as celebrity host of “The Price is Right Live,” a touring version of the long-running CBS game show.
Springer will host the show from May 23 through June 29 at the Moon River Theatre. He also hosted a 2013 touring version of “The Price is Right” in Branson.
The live game show continues in Branson through July, with host JD Roberto taking Springer’s place.
