SALEM, Ore. (AP) - Police in Salem, Oregon, say a body found in Mill Creek has been identified as a 47-year-old man who most recently lived in Astoria.
Lt. Steve Birr says the body found Monday afternoon is that of Michael Curtis Phillips. Birr says the man had prior ties to Salem.
An autopsy performed Tuesday in Portland was inconclusive pending the results of toxicology tests.
Police are looking for anyone who might have information about the death.
