LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Emergency management officials say a disaster recovery center in Pulaski County that was set up to help survivors of the April 27 storms, tornadoes and floods is set to be closed.

The center on Kanis Road in Little Rock is scheduled to close at 7 p.m. Saturday. Officials say visitors seeking assistance at the center has significantly decreased.

State and Federal Emergency Management Administration officials say disaster recovery centers in Mayflower and Vilonia will remain open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, although the centers will be closed Monday for Memorial Day.

Survivors can also register and get information about their applications online at www.disasterassistance.gov or by calling 1-800-621-3362 or (TTY) 1-800-462-7585 between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. seven days a week.
