LIVONIA, Mich. (AP) - Police say a 64-year-old man who was riding his bike home from his son’s house was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in suburban Detroit.

TV stations WXYZ, WJBK and WDIV say it happened Monday night in Livonia.

Police say they’ve made no arrests in the death of Dennis Ryan, who lived about four miles from his son in Plymouth.

Investigators say that Ryan may have been riding on the sidewalk until he came to a construction zone that forced him to move to the other side of the road.
