SAN DIEGO (AP) - The San Diego Chargers have signed second-round selection Jerry Attaochu (uh-TAO-choo) to a four-year contract.
San Diego announced the deal with the outside linebacker from Georgia Tech on Tuesday.
Attaochu was a three-year starter with the Yellow Jackets. He was moved from outside linebacker to defensive end last year when Georgia Tech changed schemes and had 12½ sacks.
Attaochu’s deal means San Diego has signed five of its six picks from this year’s draft. Cornerback Jason Verrett, who was taken with the No. 25 pick, remains unsigned.
