FREDERICK, Md. (AP) - Some bacon lovers are complaining that an all-you-can-eat event in Frederick fell short of their expectations.

The Frederick News-Post (https://bit.ly/1o1eI7T ) reported Tuesday that the Maryland attorney general’s office has fielded at least three consumer complaints stemming from last weekend’s Beer Bacon Music.

Some of the 5,000 people who paid up to $125 for tickets to the event say they were lucky to get a few strips of bacon from the all-you-can-eat bacon bar advertised by promoters.

Promoter Kevin MacFawn says he and the three other organizers had 2 tons of bacon on hand but their cooks couldn’t fry it up quickly enough to meet the demand.

MacFawn says at least 35 people have asked for refunds. He says the organizers haven’t decided how to respond.
