ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - An Albuquerque man has been sentenced to a decade in federal prison for robbing a bank in New Mexico last year.

Prosecutors say 36-year-old Jay Patrick Mount was sentenced Tuesday.

He will be on supervised release for three years after completing his prison term.

Mount was arrested three days after he was accused of robbing a U.S. Bank branch in Albuquerque on Feb. 25, 2013.

He later was indicted and entered a guilty plea in the case three months ago.

In his plea agreement, Mount admitted to robbing the bank by giving a threatening demand note to a teller and leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash.
