NEW YORK (AP) - Police say a Syracuse teenager has been arrested at New York City’s Port Authority Bus Terminal with 444 decks of heroin as well as 9 grams of crack cocaine and four small bags of marijuana.

Port Authority police say officers spotted the youth loitering at 1:40 a.m. Friday and asked him for ID.

Police say the teen could not produce ID and was escorted to the department’s youth service office.

They say he tried to flee by jumping over a desk. He was restrained and patted down.

Police say the crack was found in the teen’s pocket and the heroin and marijuana in his bag.

He was identified as 17-year-old Naheem Glenn of Syracuse.

Glenn was awaiting arraignment on drug charges.

It was not clear if he had a lawyer.
