MIAMI (AP) - Turner Sports says NBA TV had more viewers than ever for the final moments of Game 6 between the Indiana Pacers and Atlanta Hawks.

Nearly 2 million viewers tuned in between 9:30 and 9:45 p.m. EDT, with officials saying that marked the most-watched quarter-hour in the network’s history. In all, the first seven originally produced live game telecasts by NBA TV during this year’s playoffs have averaged 720,000 total viewers.

That figure represents a 237 percent increase over comparable coverage in the 2013 playoffs, the network says.

In addition, NBA GameTime - the network’s studio show - has seen viewership up 31 percent for postgame coverage throughout the opening round of this year’s playoffs.
