If Matt Drudge was going for mystery, he hit it.

The world-known Web news headliner has cleaned his Twitter account of all tweets and posts — except for a single, solitary message that strikes a somewhat ominous tone.

“In this manic Digital Age … It’s vital … To clear your mind … Constantly,” he tweeted.

But that’s the only message that remains on his account. And he subsequently changed his profile background picture of a parrot pecking at another parrot.

Drudge has 267,000 or so followers — but follows nobody.

Mr. Drudge’s Twitter account is separate from his Drudge Report handle, which follows 19,600, and has tweeted out 64,200 or so news alerts and messages.
