LAWTON, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is investigating following a police-involved shooting.

The OSBI says agents were requested by the Lawton Police Department around 10:45 p.m. Saturday. The OSBI says a man pointed a gun at officers, and at least one officer fired his weapon, striking the man.

Though the OSBI initially said the man died, they have since said 44-year-old Duffy Randolph Ahhaity is expected to survive the gunshot wound to the chest.

Names of the officers involved have not been released.
