WALKER, Mich. (AP) - Police say workers moving earth for a development project in suburban Grand Rapids have found the body of a slain woman who disappeared late last month.

Walker police tell The Grand Rapids Press (https://bit.ly/1naYeWP ) the body is that of 40-year-old Yolanda Reyes, who was last seen April 24.

Her husband says he dropped the mother of four off that day at her job at a greenhouse. Police say she didn’t punch in for work and co-workers didn’t see her.

An autopsy concludes that Reyes was a victim of homicide. The cause of death wasn’t immediately available.
