BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - The mayor of the Vermont city of Burlington is hosting a community conversation with U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power, following her commencement address at the University of Vermont.

Mayor Miro Weinberger will host the free ticketed event on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the Echo Lake Aquarium & Science Center, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain.

The mayor’s office says at the U.N. Power works to advance U.S. interests, promote and defend universal values, and address pressing global challenges to global peace, security, and prosperity.

The event will include a video presentation and a Burlington High School model UN will facilitate a question and answer session.
