BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Police are investigating the suspicious death of a man whose body was found in a makeshift campsite in a wooded area in Burlington.
Police describe the man as a transient in his 40s.
He was found unresponsive in a sleeping structure within a makeshift campsite on Saturday morning near the Burlington Electric Department.
Police have not released the man’s name until his family is notified.
Police say they are treating it as a suspicious death and say initial reports indicate that there is no threat to the general public.
