TOWN OF LAFAYETTE, Wis. (AP) - The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man in a logging accident in southwestern Wisconsin.
A statement from the sheriff’s office says it happened in the Town of Lafayette before 1 p.m. Saturday. Emergency responders arrived to find a 36-year-old man dead from being hit by a tree.
His name has not been released pending notification of relatives.
