ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - A camp for families affected by cancer will be getting help from the state after severe weather hit Yates County and flooding damaged the camp.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Thursday that Camp Good Days and Special Times in Branchport sustained $60,000 worth of damage due to the storm. The Democrat says the state will provide money to move along the repairs.

Cuomo announced a state of emergency for the county on Wednesday after storms and flash floods hit the area.
