CRETE TOWNSHIP, Ill. (AP) - Suburban Chicago police say they’ve investigating the death of an 85-year-old Will County man as a homicide.

The (Joliet) Herald-News (https://bit.ly/1sWIB8T ) reports Alfred Hilton’s body was found in his Crete Township home on Wednesday.

Investigators say Hilton’s home was ransacked and believe he’d been the victim of a robbery.

Officials haven’t said how he died.

So far, no arrests have been made.

Crete Township is about 30 miles south of Chicago.
