WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Wilmington Police say officers seized more than 23 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop.

Authorities say officers saw a driver commit several traffic violations about noon Wednesday and pulled the vehicle over.

Police say officers smelled marijuana and a drug-sniffing dog alerted to the presence of drugs in the vehicle. Investigators say a search of the vehicle turned up several bags containing 23.44 pounds of marijuana.

Thirty-two-year-old Hassan Stewart of Wilmington was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana and other drug and traffic offenses.
